Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Oh, pizza. So delicious and versatile. When you bite into this particular pizza, get ready for a mouthful of creamy Alfredo, stringy hot Mozzarella, garlicky greens, big chunks of chicken and thin, crispy crust. It’s creamy, dreamy Heaven in your mouth. Everyone knows that Alfredo sauce is traditionally a calorie bomb, but I’ve had great results with Classico brand light Alfredo sauce. It’s rich and creamy without being heavy and with significantly fewer calories. I loved this with the spinach cooked with garlic, but you could certainly add different vegetables (broccoli, peppers etc) depending on what you like with Alfredo. If you like pizza or Alfredo (or particularly if you love both), this is for you! Don’t forget to check out my Easy Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken post- the perfect way to make shredded chicken for this recipe!

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Yield: 6 slices

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Boboli 12” Whole Wheat Thin Pizza Crust
  • 1/2 cup light Alfredo sauce (I used Classico and I highly recommend it)
  • ½ cup cooked boneless, skinless chicken breast, shredded or chopped
  • ¾ cup 2% reduced fat shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ½ teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450.
  2. Lightly mist a skillet with cooking spray and bring over medium heat. Add the spinach and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally for a few minutes until the spinach is wilted and the garlic is golden and fragrant. Remove from heat.
  3. Spread the Alfredo sauce evenly across the top surface of the pizza crust, leaving at least a ½ inch edge around the outside. Spread the spinach and garlic evenly over top of the sauce. Sprinkle the chopped chicken pieces over the top, followed by the mozzarella cheese. Finish the pizza by sprinkling the Parmesan cheese over top.
  4. Place pizza on a foil covered baking sheet, a pizza stone (my preference) or straight onto the oven rack (depending on how you like your crust) and bake for 8-10 minutes.

  1. Your blog has been very helpful on my Weight Watcher’s journey. I pin your recipes all the time. Thanks for treading the ground…it sure does make the journey easier!!

  2. I recommend the clasico as well. Ive tried the ragu alfedo light and didn’t care for it much.

  3. Emily, try this with Caesar salad dressing instead of the alfredo sauce for a Caesar chicken pizza! Yum! Thanks for all the great recipes, my husband now believes dinner can be made in a cupcake tin and it will be delicious! -Tammy

  4. making this tonight w/ broccoli instead of spinach! pumped.

  5. What a delicious pizza recipe, this looks amazing! 🙂

  6. For individual pizzas that are still low in points use Pita bread (white or wheat/with or without pockets). We have found these to be just as tasty and fun because we can individualize our pizza (I add crushed red pepper to everything and my girlfriend doesn’t really like that.)

Keep up the great work on the blog. We love your recipes.

  7. Your blog is so great! I just went through them one by one, and I can’t wait to start trying A LOT of these recipes. One question I did have – do you cook for a family or just for yourself? If it’s just for yourself, what do you do with the leftovers? I ask because I’ll be cooking for myself and I wanted to know if these recipes freeze well. Thanks and keep the recipes coming!

    • Thanks! I live by myself so I am usually cooking just for me. Luckily I love leftovers and I get excited to eat things again the next day if I liked them, so usually I eat whatever I make for the next few days. If a recipe makes a lot of servings I usually freeze some of them. That’s great because then you have ready made meals to heat up when you don’t feel like cooking!

  8. Hi Emily.
Found your blog via Amee’s Savory Dish. One option I love for at home pizza is prepared unbaked dough you can get from Trader Joes, Sprouts (which is in SoCal) or many pizza restaurants sell their dough fresh and you can bake at home. This way you control the thickness of your crust and there is nothing like seeing fresh dough bubble up in the oven!

    • Yes, my grocery store sells that unbaked dough too :). I’ll probably try it sometime. I just love the convenience of the Boboli crusts. Thanks for the suggestion!

  9. I found your page while reading the boards on W/W.
and saw this pizza, Can’t wait to try it.going to make it tonight..
    Thanks!
    You have a new Fan!!

  10. Wow – so many of my favorites all rolled into one great pizza 🙂 I think tortillas make a great pizza crust alternative too. One of my favorite pizza combinations is BBQ sauce, chicken, broccoli, red onion, and 3-cheese blend.

This is going on my must make soon list.

  11. Love you recipes! How did you cook the chicken before you made the pizza?

  12. I made this tonight and it was so good!

  13. Just made it tonite, super Yummy and easy to make!

  14. One word: AMAZING!!!

  15. Currently cooking this now!!! I can’t wait to eat it.

  16. This was fabulous. So much flavor. May be my new favorite pizza. Can you try to lighten up a Thai chicken pizza. I love the one from California pizza kitchen. Thanks.

  17. Fantastic! Aside from the pizzas I had while in Italy this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! It is just too good and really easy too! Thanks so much for the recipe.

  18. O. M. G. Best. Pizza. Ever. Emily, will you marry me?

  19. This pizza was FANTASTIC! I’m usually not a huge leftover fan, but have been eagerly eating these! 🙂 I cut mine into 8 slices, which made it 4 P+ per slice. (note: I did use a different crust, so that could have affected the points. I used a Freschetta Golden Wheat crust, just because that’s what I had on hand).

  20. I have a love affair with pizza and my husband is always jokingly suggesting that we open a pizza place. Are you kidding? I would weigh 500# because I would have to eat it every day! Ha! Anyway, when I made this he said, “When we open that pizza place, THIS is definitely going on the menu!” Thanks for sharing this awesome pizza recipe!

  21. Hey Emily,

I made this pizza over the weekend and it was FANTASTIC. Insanely easy to make, deliciously rich and decadent. And, because I’m a single lady… I had left overs to spare. Can’t wait to try some of the other awesome recipes on this site.

  23. I can’t even begin to tell you how wonderful this recipe is! I couldn’t find the thin pre-made pizza curst, so made my own, but we will make this will be a regular on our dinner menu! Thanks Emily!

  26. Hi Emily!! Just came accross your site while on Pinterest and I can”t wait to try out your recipes. Making this one tonight. I too am a Buffalo girl! I now live in Rochester but still come home to see my boyfriend and family. Congradulations on your success with your blog. Looking forward to more recipes.

  27. Well I made this pizza last night and LOVED IT!!! Can’t wait to try some more recipes.

  28. I lost 30 lbs on weight watchers then fell off the bandwagon and put 10 back on….your recipes are my inspiration to get back on track, they all look delicious but also not too difficult to make 🙂

  29. I just made this pizza the other night and it was delicious! My boyfriend went back for thirds! He wants me to make it once a week! I love your site! Thank you for posting these recipes!

  30. Just made this. I added broccoli, red onion, peppers and thin sliced tomato on top in addition to the spinach. It’s amazing. I never would have tried boboli but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be! I actually really enjoyed the crunch I got by leaving it on the rack. I also definitely appreciate how quick it made everything. Really awesome on a weeknight.

My boyfriend and I are doing WW together and so I’ve been trying to win him over with some really good recipes. He gave this one an 8 (he’s a pretty stingy rater and there’s only a few things he gives above a 7.5). He said he’d definitely eat it again which is a relief cause I loved it!!

I’m so glad I found your blog and this pizza!

  31. Excellent recipe!! I loved it. The only change I made was adding a little more alfredo sauce and cheese.

  32. Oh my goodness!! We made this last night and it was FANTASTIC!!!!! I have lost over 40 pounds with WW and this blog is a life saver!!! I have not tried one single recipe that wasn’t amazing!! THANKS!!!

  33. Love, love, love! Made this tonight. My only change is that I chop the spinach really small because my husband “thinks” he doesn’t like it. Then, after the spinach and garlic are ready, I mixed it in with the Alfredo sauce before spreading it. Turned out perfect!! And, the best part…he loved it! 😉

  34. This is so good that I had to dive into my extra weekly points to have a 4th slice lol! Love it!

  35. Another great one! Husband approved & the garlic with the spinach just makes it amazingggggggg!

  36. Straight to the point! Thanks i love your recipe. It sounds sounds and looka pretty easy. Gonna try this recipe this weekend. Thanks again!

  37. Tried this last night for dinner and it was super yummy! We left out the spinach and had to use a different crust since we couldn’t find Boboli’s.

  38. how many servings does this come out to?

  39. I would recommend on making your own Alfredo sauce because it is easy and good for the environment. Instead of buying it from the store you can use some easy ingredients that you have laying around at the house and that are also already included in your pizza. This way you can find out where your ingredients came from instead of the outsourcing in the store bought alfredo sauce.
