Add the ingredients to your slow cooker at night and have a hot breakfast waiting when you wake up!
Yield: 5(1 cup) servings
Ingredients
1 ½cupspeeled and chopped apples, for me this was one large honeycrisp apple
1tablespooncinnamon
½cupunsweetened applesauce
2tablespoonsbrown sugar
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1cupsteel cut oats, do not substitute quick cooking or old fashioned oats
4cupswater
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in your slow cooker and stir to combine until the brown sugar is dissolved (you’ll want to put the cinnamon in before the water so it’s easier to stir and doesn’t just float). Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours
