7.5ozFrench bread baguettesliced diagonally into fifteen ½ oz slices (about ½” thick)
3oz1/3 less fat cream cheesesoftened to room temperature
3ozcooked boneless skinless chicken breastshredded or chopped small
¼cupBuffalo-style hot sauce
2tablespoonsFrench onion dip(such as Bison Dip or Heluva Good)
1ozshredded 2% milk sharp cheddar cheese
1teaspoonchopped parsleyoptional
Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the baguette slices on a foil lined baking sheet and spray the tops with cooking spray. Flip the slices over and spray the other side as well. Place the baguette slices in the oven for 6-8 minutes until lightly toasted. When finished, flip each piece of toasted bread over to await topping.
While the bread is in the oven, stir together the cream cheese, chicken, Buffalo sauce, French onion dip, and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
When the bread is toasted and flipped over, top each toasted baguette slice with one tablespoon of Buffalo chicken mixture, dividing it evenly amongst the bread. Return the topped toasts to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes until the topping is heated through and the edges of the toasts are golden and crispy. Sprinkle with parsley if using and serve.
