Holly Bunches

Holly Bunches

As Will Ferrell says in the movie Elf, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is by singing loud for all to hear.” The second best way (which he somehow failed to mention) is probably to make these Holly Bunches. They’re so quick and easy to make and the results are fun, festive, adorable and delicious. I absolutely love the cinnamon flavor from the red hot candies mixed with the marshmallow-y goodness of the coating. It’s perfect. These are an ideal treat to bring to a holiday party or cookie exchange because they stand out on a buffet table and everyone loves them. I will warn you though – there’s food coloring in them, so you may end up with a green tongue after eating. It’s so worth it though. With so many decadent, calorie-laden foods being passed around this time of year, it feels good to whip up a treat that gives you the sweet & festive flavors you crave guilt-free. 8. Just a note that this is not vegetarian due to the marshmallows (contain gelatin), though if you substitute with vegetarian marshmallows (not sure if there are mini ones easily available), that should work.
