Lightened Up Summer BBQ Potluck Recipe Roundup
Memorial Day is almost here and that means summer picnic/potluck/barbecue season is upon us! A great way to ensure there are healthy and delicious options at any party you attend is to bring one yourself! I thought it would be helpful to compile a list of lightened up summer BBQ recipe ideas for reference – make sure to bookmark it or pin it for later! You’ll probably want to come back to it a few times between now and Labor Day.
I split the recipes into a few categories below so it’s easy to find whatever type of recipe you’re seeking. Some salads, appetizers, side dishes and desserts that are easy to bring and share and even a few main dishes to throw on the grill if you’re the host. I will try to update this at least once a year (if not more often) with new recipes to keep it fresh and complete. Of course there are tons of other recipes on my site you could bring, so if you want to peruse the entire list, check out my recipe index for more categories (including a full recipe listing under “all recipes”).

Great ideas here. I always get stuck when it comes to potlucks. It’s hard to figure out what is practical to cook that people will actually enjoy eating.
With WW I am now down 55 lbs. I am so very happy to find and share your recipes with fellow members. I love that your collection of recipes includes many flavors I like and that we are used to here in Central California. Please keep up the good work. We all appreciate you and your site.
This is a really great recipe, I’ll probably try it this weekend.
